Description

TUFF R Retractable Secondary Belt Cleaners deliver effective long term cleaning with minimal maintenance. Independent shock absorbing cushions provide constant tensioning to the high grade tungsten tips that will individually self-adjust to irregular contours of belt surfaces. Poles are reinforced for additional strength and have incorporated spray jets allowing the introduction of water to help dislodge carry back fines embedded into the belt's surface and to lubricate cleaner tips or blades. Significant increases in cleaner performance and life will be delivered when water sprays are utilised. Spray jets are angled at 45 degrees to the belt for a high pressure, low volume spray. It is recommended that a TUFF Water Control Board be utilised for optimum control and filtration. Also available in Standard Spray Pole and Custom Built models. A range of tips and spray jet sizes are available for different applications including vulcanised and mechanical spliced belts. Water consumption 23.4 ltr/m @ 3 bar with Size 10 Jets Suitable for Reversing Belts in underground, hard rock and metal mining, aggregate, bulk material handling, and wood products operations. Maximum Belt Speed - 6 m/sec.
